Any wonder why the rockets fly from Gaza to Israel?

This is a shame…. but it also doesn’t give them a right to shot our farmers either, (Thai worker on a kibbutz was takin out with a .50 cal rifle not to long ago. shame no one was there to film it.
I will say that if the IDF finds these solders guilty which they should be then prison time is the least of their worries.

No one should be shooting there. but Hamas sends rockets we send them right back.

Hamas sends rockets and Israel kills 1300 people. Most recently, Hamas sent rockets because Israel broke the ceasefire one too many times by killing 7 Hamas members in Gaza. That was of course, on top of not honoring their part of the bargain by keeping the borders closed, shooting at unarmed Palestinians fishermen on an ongoing basis, shooting an unarmed Palestinian man near the fence just days after the ceasefire went into effect last June, etc. etc.

The problem there is not Hamas. The problem is the Zionist occupation of lands that Israel has no business being in.

ROFLMFAO! Man you ever been here? have you ever stepped foot into this country?
cause you really have it wrong….. \
and I bet you never say a thing about it when a suicide bomber takes a bunch of Israeli civilins with him on the freight elivator to allah?

  4. 4 theradicalmormon February 25, 2009 at 6:22 pm

What I do know is that your country is illegally occupying land that it is the international consensus that it should be out of according to numerous UN resolutions and that you continue to brutally oppress the very people you occupy and then seem to be surprised when they send a crude homemade rocket over or do a suicide bombing (which hasn’t happened for quite a while). I also know the history of the region and all about the Nakba and the Zionist transfer policy and desires to expand to all of Eretz Israel. I’d say that Israel’s Zionist government are the ones who have it all wrong amigo.

want to know why the bombers stopped?
well we don’t let them come in anymore that’s why they stopped.
as for the rest of your comment that just shows tou really know nothing about the situation,
read my paper on the rockets they send,,, you might be suprised.

That’s so horrible to watch. Someone’s whole life cut short for no reason.

that just shows tou really know nothing about the situation

He’s absolutely correct. Israel has no right to occupy the West Bank nor Gaza. That said, I also have a lot of sympathy for the Israeli workers who are forced to pay, bleed and die for the sake of their oligarchs (most of whom live in comfort and safety here in the U.S. and Canada.)

  7. 7 theradicalmormon February 26, 2009 at 6:43 am

    Robert,
I shouldn’t diminish the traumatic impact of the rockets upon the people in Israel who are effected by them. However, that doesn’t change the fact that Israel illegally occupies land it has no right to be in and the Palestinians have every right to resist.

what land around Gaza do we not own? the Gaza strip is just as it was except for some security buffers that really don’t stop the snipers from picking farmers off the backs of their tractors!

The west bank area was captured in 67 from Jordan… this country didn’t want it back like egypt wanted sinai.. Funny how the egyptians didn’t want Gaza back. even when they bitched over Taba that tiny square mile they were almost ready to rip the treaty up over,,,,,,,,,, funny how all of you equate Gaza with the WB……. there is no occupied land in the gaza area. oh wait……. Hamas says all of what is israel is occupied lands that we need to leave is that what you mean?

they have a right to exist as long as they don’t try to take my life in doing so.. but Nooooooooooooo they the leaders want me and mine dead and gone… sorry I’m staying right here

    Hi Robert,

    You wrote:

Jordan is an artificial state created by the British. Palestinians are an entirely different (non-Arab) population who originally came from islands in the Aegean sea. They used to call themselves the “Sea Peoples”. The fact that they converted to Islam and speak Arabic now doesn’t give them anything else in common with Jordanians, who are Arabs.

Of course they’re shooting back. For about twenty centuries these people have fought hard to defend their country from invaders: British, Egyptians, French, Turks and now Israelis.

Hamas says all of what is israel is occupied lands that we need to leave is that what you mean?

All of Israel is occupied economically and the proof is in the fact that I have to teach you the basics of your own history. Like all colonized peoples, the Israeli working class sees itself through the lens of the colonizer.

In another couple of generations the mineral wealth of the region will be depleted. At that point the ruling class in North America and Europe will have no reason to support Israel any longer. The only reason the west sends your government money and free jets now is to keep the fighting continuing, so that we can rape your natural environment while you squabble with your neighbors. Your grandchildren will probably be in for a rather rough time when we leave town.

There is a solution, and that is for the Israeli and Palestinian people to get together, throw the bums in charge (on both sides) out (they betray you daily, you know this), and tell the west to go to hell. I don’t see this happening, because the hatred is pretty deep, but it would solve a lot of long term problems.

    Robert,
Gaza and the West Bank never belonged to Egypt and Jordan in an internationally recognized sense of the word. And, the occupation of Gaza is as real as a physical occupation as the people of Gaza have no control over their society but what Israel allows them. If there is no occupation why does Israel shoot at Palestinian fishermen in their own waters? Why does Israel blockade all goods going into Gaza from land and sea? Without the ability to determine their own society, Gaza is truly occupied. Of course, much of modern day Israel is occupied land as it was not given to Israel by the partition of 1948, but taken by force and by forced expulsion of Palestinian arabs.
Israel must live up to the UN resolutions calling upon it for a return to pre-1967 borders and the right of Palestinian refugee return in one form or another before justified Arab anger will be calmed.

SEA PEOPLE? what is this a SIFI Convention?
You don’t even know the history of the people that gave themselves the name. MY G-d…..
    WEAK LINK indeed.

A failed sence of History will always come to the surface once the history you preach has been revised…

the shooting at fisherman? LOL you don’t read about the drop off points? Big ships like the one Iran sent with a bellyfull of weapons drop the stuff off in waterproof containers and the fisherman pick it up… been going on for years…
sort of like the US CoastGuard taking potshots at smugglers off the coast of florida

as for the pre 67 borders take a look at the 48 borders set by the UN that means if we take the 48 border the Arabs loose more then they have now……
and if i take the 67 border what you going to do when my city of Kfar saba once again falls under cannon fire as it did from 48 to 67?

It seems I know more about your own history than you. Google sea peoples for more information on what you missed in school.

How about Omer Goldman, the heroic little Israeli girl (daughter of the old Mossad chief) who was shot at, seemingly for sport, when she was in Palestine minding her own business? Was she (cute, harmless little high-school girl) smuggling weapons too?

Even if that were true, which I doubt, big deal. If the Bahamians invaded continental North America tomorrow I’d be the first person to volunteer with the local guerrilla chieftain and I’m sure I’d act in exactly the same way the “terrorists” are acting. My guess is that you would too. These people are trying to repel an invasion by a foreign country (Israel) who is exploiting them and stealing their land. Of course they’re going to resist.

Quit playing the stooge for a bunch of wealthy layabouts here in the U.S.. They don’t care about you nor any Israeli. Your children invade other countries, become murderers and often come home traumatized, mentally ill or in body bags. They laugh at you while counting the money they make.

and if i take the 67 border what you going to do when my city of Kfar saba once again falls under cannon fire as it did from 48 to 67?

Are you saying that you have some cultural imperative to fight with your neighbors? Suppose you become a citizen of “Palestine” rather than “Israel”. In a civilized world, this would mean nothing.

    D&C 87: 6
“And thus, with the sword and by bloodshed the inhabitants of the earth shall mourn; and with famine, and plague, and earthquake, and the thunder of heaven, and the fierce and vivid lightning also, shall the inhabitants of the earth be made to feel the wrath, and indignation, and chastening hand of an Almighty God, until the consumption decreed hath made a full end of all nations;”

The world will be a much better place after the “consumption decreed” has “made a full end of all nations.”

This whole thing looks pretty staged, they were pretty damn far away, only sniper rifles are accurate to that distance, not standard issue assault rifles

  18. 18 theradicalmormon April 28, 2010 at 5:31 pm

Staged? I think not. This is a common occurance. Check my post from today to see it again.
