The “war on terror” spreads to Syria as the US bombs kids and women in more countries with increasing frequency

It’s really quite amazing how the US can go about bombing other nations without fear of reprisal.  We go into Pakistan regulary as well, sort of ignoring the outrage expressed even by the pro-western government.

Is it any wonder that the Iraqi government and people want the US out of their country without a Status of Forces Agreement?

Again, isn’t it very illuminating to see how the US is blackmailing the Iraqi government, saying that will cut off services to Iraq if there is no agreement in place?  That, in spite of the fact that the agreement is not acceptable to a single member of the Iraqi government as it stands and in spite of the fact that there is tremendous popular pressure on elected officials in Iraq, to get the USA out of Iraq pronto?  It is nice to have such crystal-clear examples of how disdainful the US really is of democracy… at least how the rest of the world defines the word.
