The truth about Georgia, Russia and the US

What’s really going on in Georgia these days?  Our news media and government officials make it look like the big bully Russia is attacking plucky little Georgia, the beacon of democracy in the former Soviet satellite nations.  It should raise a red flag to anyone who understands how misinformation and propaganda is used in the US, to see the US standing up for Georgia, which has been pounding mercilessly on South Ossetia and killing upwards of 2000 people by some reports.  The US is suddenly against foreign intervention.  When innocent civilians get killed in Iraq, or in Gaza by the US’s client state, Israel, there is no protest from Washington at all.  The truth is a hard thing to find if you pay attention to the corporate media.  However, good information can indeed be found.  I have found a good piece on this conflict which rings true.  Feel free to disagree.  I might learn from you.  Here is an excerpt:

Not surprisingly, Russia has exploited the affair to re-assert its punctured and waning authority in its neighbouring state. Its terrible assaults on Georgian territory and military buildings are an attempt not only to weaken Georgia but also to send a message to the other former Soviet republics and to Washington itself. And anyone with even a ‘C’ grade in international relations should know that, if Russia were to send forces to Mexico to arm Mexicans and flatter their anti-American sentiments, then Washington would respond in a very similar way.

Israel funded, trained and provided the weapons systems to Georgia. When the situation gor hot, Israel ran away and the western media never said a word about Isaeli involvement. This proves that newspapers, television and radio is Zionist controlled in America.
