Malnutrition is a huge problem in small children in 3rd world countries. This is different from hunger. Some of these children have enough cereal or bread to fill their stomachs, but are still at risk of death and disease because of malnutrition. Doctors without Borders (MSF) is engaged in a campaign to treat malnutrition, not only in severely malnourished kids, but in moderately malnourished kids too. This nutrient rich milk powder based food is like a miracle for these kids (150,000 treated in 2006), however, there are 20 million malnourished children in Africa and much more needs to be done. Please watch this video and see what marvelous effect this simple treatment has on these kids lives.
