The Israel Lobby and its involvement in the dismissal of Norman Finklestein from DePaul University

This article reports on the story of how Norman Finklestein was dismissed from DePaul University in spite of rave reviews from students and the support of his collegues and popular international outcry… all because of his speaking of the truth about the Israel Lobby in the USA.

“When Finkelstein came up for tenure last autumn, a series of pro-Israel and neo-conservative groups are believed to have campaigned against his appointment. The university also received a dossier from Israel-backer and former OJ Simpson lawyer Alan Dershowitz, who accused him of anti-Semitism. ”

http://www.palestinechronicle.com/story-11150732858.htmThe Israel Lobby has its hands in all sorts of these sorts of issues.  It was the Israeli lobby that pressured the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota to cancel an invitation to Archbishop Desmond Tutu because of his prior criticisms of Israeli foreign policy.

I am glad though if Finklestein’s dismissal will lead to a greater awareness of the monster and wicked influence the Israel Lobby represents to the US public.
