Bush explains why he doesn’t invade Pakistan

Today Bush said, “If he (bin Laden) is in Pakistan,” said Bush, “Pakistan’s a sovereign nation. In order for us to send thousands of troops into a sovereign nation, we’ve got to be invited by the government of Pakistan.”

Excuse me, but is this not different from the way we dealt with Afganistan and Iraq?

It is interesting the deference we give to Pakistan with Bush saying the above on the same day that it was reported that Pakistan released 2500 prisoners suspected to be either Taliban or Al Queda.
